Samsung took the wraps off Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G globally on March 15. The smartphones were launched after numerous leaks and rumours. The Korean giant has officially revealed the pricing of smartphones in India. Both smartphones feature various improvements over their predecessors. These smartphones are the only devices in the segment to feature IP57 water resistance. Samsung has competitively priced the A54 5G as there is no Galaxy A74 series this year. The brand has skipped the series in favour of Galaxy S23 FE, launching in Q4 of 2024. Let us look at the pricing of newly launched A series smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G: Price and Availability

Samsung has priced the Galaxy A54 5G at Rs 38,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The higher variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 40,999. The net effective price of Galaxy A54 5G is Rs 35,999 and Rs 37,999. after pre-booking offers. The smartphone is available in Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White colour options.

The pricing of Galaxy A34 5G starts at Rs 30,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The price of 8GB + 256GB variants begins at Rs 32,999, and the device is available in Awesome Silver, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Lime, and Awesome Violet colour options. The Galaxy A34 5G can be bought at an effective price of Rs 27,999 of Rs 29,999.

The smartphones will be available at major online platforms, Samsung eStore, Samsung exclusive and partner stores from March 28. Samsung has announced a cashback of Rs 3000 or an exchange bonus of Rs 2500 for consumers who pre-book the smartphones. The brand also offers Galaxy Buds Live for Rs 999 which retails at Rs 5,999. The pre-booking of the smartphones starts March 16 and ends at March 27.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G Specifications

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G features a 6.4-inch sAMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Underneath, it sports Exynos 1380 chipset built on the 5nm process. Samsung has equipped the smartphone with a triple-rear camera setup.

The setup consists of a primary 50MP sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5MP macro sensor. The punch-hole inside the display houses the 32MP selfie camera. The device is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy A34 5G Specifications

The lower Galaxy A34 features a larger 6.6-inch sAMOLED screen with a 120HZ refresh rate. Samsung has equipped the device with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. Both smartphones run on OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 out of the box.

The Galaxy A34 5G sports a triple rear camera with a 48MP primary sensor with OIS. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro sensor accompany the sensor. The dewdrop notch inside the display houses the 13MP selfie camera. The device is backed with a 5000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
