Samsung has finally launched the much-awaited A-series smartphones – the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Samsung Galaxy A34 5G. The latest Galaxy A-series smartphones make their global debut in the European market and are all set to debut tomorrow in India. The latest A-series smartphones are powered by Dimensity 1080 and Exynos 1380 processors respectively.
Samsung is going with a uniform design language across lineups and as a result, the latest A-series smartphones look very much like the Galaxy S23 series smartphone. Samsung is also promising four Android version upgrades and 5 years of security patch updates for the latest A-series smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is priced at €389 (approx Rs 34,400) for the 6GB + 128GB variant. There is also an 8GB + 256GB variant of the device which is priced at €459 (approx Rs 40,600). The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G carries a price tag of €489 (approx Rs 43,200) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. The smartphone is also available in an 8GB + 256GB configuration which costs €539 (approx Rs 47,600).

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G: Specifications and Features
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G flaunts a 6.4-inch sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ (1080 × 2340 pixel) resolution. The display panel features an Infinity-O notch.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A54 5G sports an octa-core Exynos 1380 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G80 GPU. The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset comes pre-loaded with Android 13 based OneUI 5.1.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G packs a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation. The high-resolution sensor gets accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro sensor. A 32MP front shooter is also available on the handset that takes care of selfies and video calls.
The Galaxy A54 5G is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit. It supports 25W fast charging over a USB 2.0 Type-C port. The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G offers a 120Hz sAMOLED display with a Full HD+ (1080 × 2340 pixel) resolution and an Infinity-U notch. The display panel measures 6.6 inches in size and makes room for an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
The Galaxy A34 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor that comes paired with a Mali G68 GPU. The handset offers up to 8GB of memory and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Users also get an option to expand the storage further with the (hybrid) micro-SD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G comes equipped with a 48MP primary shooter that is supported by OIS. It gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro camera. The selfies and video calls on the latest A-series smartphone are handled by a 13MP front shooter.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G packs a 5000mAh battery unit and relies on a Type-C port for charging. The handset offers a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio support.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will be available for purchase in Awesome Silver, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Lime, and Awesome Voilet colour options. The handset weighs 199 grams and measures 161.3 × 78.1 × 8.2 mm.
