Samsung has announced it on Twitter that it will launch a new A-series smartphone in India on September 11, 2019. Although the brand did not reveal the name of the smartphone, it is expected to be the Galaxy A50s. And we say this because Samsung has recently started a campaign for the A50s in the Indian market through its social media platforms. Along with the Galaxy A50s, the brand might also launch the Galaxy A30s that Samsung has been teasing lately. We will, however, focus on the Galaxy A50s in this article.

The Samsung Galaxy A50s has already made its debut, and the device comes as the successor to the Galaxy A50 that was launched earlier this year. Now that the Galaxy A50s is out, we know its specifications in detail. So, why don’t we have a look at the specifications? And while we are at, let us also have a look what the Galaxy A50s could cost in the Indian market.

Samsung Galaxy A50s Expected Price in India

Although the Samsung Galaxy A50s made its debut, the price of the device hasn’t been announced yet. Therefore, we do not have accurate information regarding the Galaxy A50s’ price in India. That being said, the Galaxy A50s could come with a slight premium over its predecessor, the Galaxy A50. Considering that the Galaxy A50 currently costs around INR 18,000 in India, you can expect the Galaxy A50s to cost somewhere between INR 20,000 to INR 22,000.

Samsung Galaxy A50s Specifications

Before we have a look at the specifications of the Galaxy A50s, let me tell you that the device brings very little upgraded over its predecessor. The only significant difference between the Galaxy A50 and the Galaxy A50s is that the latter comes with a 48MP rear camera and a 32MP front-facing camera, instead of the 25MP rear and the 25MP front-facing cameras in the Galaxy A50.

When it comes to imaging, the Galaxy A50s has a triple-camera setup at the rear featuring a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is a 32MP unit.

Under the hood, there is Exynos 9610 SoC; it is built on 10nm architecture, feature an eight CPU cores, and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The operating system, as you might expect, is the Android 9 Pie with One UI customization from Samsung. The battery is a 4000mAh unit supporting 15W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy A50s has USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
