Tipster Evan Blass has leaked the specifications and features of both devices. As per the leaked information, the Galaxy A72 will come with a 3x optical zoom. The report also reveals that the Samsung Galaxy A52 will feature an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. Samsung is gearing up for the Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 launch. Ahead of the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked 2021 event, specifications of the two devices have leaked.

Tipster Evan Blass has uploaded the design renders and specs of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. The Galaxy A52 will come in 4G and 5G models, whereas the Galaxy A72 will come with 4G support. It was previously tipped that the 4G variant of the A52 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, whereas the 5G variant will come with a Snapdragon 750G processor.

The renders confirm some of the previously leaked information. Both devices will feature a quad-camera setup on the back. The Galaxy A52 will come with a 64MP primary camera with OIS. It will also feature a 12MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The Samsung Galaxy A72 is likely to have the same specs, except that the 5MP macro could be replaced by an 8MP telephoto lens. Blass’ leak reveals that the device will support a 3x optical zoom.
The Galaxy A52 will have a 4,500 mAh battery. The Galaxy A72 will pack a 5000 mAh battery. We can expect the phones to come with 25W fast charging support.
The Galaxy A52 will have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display. The 4G model is tipped to feature a 90Hz display, whereas the 5G model will come with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. The phone will come with 6GB RAM and run Android 11 on top of One UI 3.1 out of the box.
The Galaxy A72 will have a 6.7-inch screen. Both Infinity-O displays will have a hole-punch cutout on the top-centre. It will also get powered by a Snapdragon 720G processor under the hood. The Galaxy A72 was listed on the Google Play Console. The listing revealed that the phone will come with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the software front, the smartphone will run Android 11 out-of-the-box with Samsung’s own One UI 3.0. For selfies and video-calling, the smartphone might sport a 32MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Galaxy A52 India price will start at Rs 26,499 for the base 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB variant will launch in India for Rs 27,999.
The two storage variants will have the model number SM-A525FG AND SM-A525FH.
Samsung is likely to skip the 5G model and launch the Galaxy A52 with 4G network support.

The Galaxy A72 India price will start at Rs 34,999. Users will get 8GB + 128GB storage for the price. The Galaxy A72 will also launch in an 8GB + 256GB variant priced at Rs 37,999.
