Samsung is gearing up to launch another A-series smartphone in India. The South Korean tech giant has teased the launch of the Galaxy A52s in India. The device was, earlier this month, unveiled in select international markets. Samsung has not yet announced the launch date of the device yet in India. It is expected to arrive on September 3, according to a leak. Ahead of the launch, the pricing details of the upcoming Samsung phone have leaked. According to the leaked pricing, spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the upcoming Galaxy A-series device will be priced under Rs 40,000 in India. Samsung could launch the Galaxy A52s very soon in India. Ahead of the official launch, the device’s pricing details have leaked online. According to the leaked pricing, Samsung will launch the Galaxy A52s in India for Rs 35,999. For the price, users get 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will also arrive in an 8GB + 128GB variant, which will be priced at Rs 37,499 in India.
The device was launched in the UK at a starting price of GBP 409 (Rs 41,806). It comes in four colours – Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Mint.
Specs and features
The Galaxy A52s features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It has a Full HD+ resolution and a hole punch cutout on top for the front camera. The phone draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC under the hood. It is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The performance unit also includes an Adreno 642L GPU.
On the back, there is a quad-camera setup. The phone has a 64MP primary camera sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. It is accompanied by two 5MP sensors for depth and macro. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera sensor. The phone packs a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
