Samsung is gearing up for the Galaxy S22 series launch. The flagship smartphones will launch on February 9 worldwide. Soon after the Galaxy S22 series, the company is expected to launch new mid-range smartphones in India and other markets. One of the devices is the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G.

The upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphone will launch as a successor of the A52s 5G. Currently, there is no word on the official launch date. Meanwhile, a new report from WinFuture lists down the specifications and design of the upcoming Samsung smartphone. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G India launch is imminent. The phone’s support page has gone live on the company’s India website. Ahead of the launch, the WinFuture report reveals the design and specs of the upcoming Samsung smartphone. It has a hole-punch display with thin bezels around it. The phone will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It will also have a 120Hz refresh rate support and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The phone will draw power from an Exynos 1200 SoC under the hood. The SoC has two cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It will come with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will be an option to increase the storage by up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

Samsung will pack a 5000 mAh battery in the Galaxy A53 5G. It will come with 25W fast charging support. The phone weighs 189 grams and measures 8.1mm.

On the back, the phone has a 64MP main camera sensor. The quad-camera setup is completed by a 12MP ultrawide camera and two 5MP sensors. One of the 5MP sensors will be used for macro photography. The device will have a 32MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calls. Other details leaked include 5G support, Bluetooth 5.x, WLAN and NFC. The phone is expected to boot Android 12 out of the box with a layer of OneUI 4.0 on top.
