Powering the handset is an octa-core Exynos 1280 processor and a Mali G68 GPU. The system on chip brings with it up to 8GB memory and 128GB onboard storage. The latest A-series handset comes pre-loaded with OneUI 4.1, based on Android 12.
The Galaxy A53 5G offers a quad-rear camera setup including a 64MP primary sensor with OIS support. Accompanying it is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it relies on a 32MP shooter.
The latest A-series handset is equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and supports 25W fast charging. However, Samsung isn’t providing a charger in the retail box. The Galaxy A53 5G has a Type-C charging port, a micro-SD card slot, a stereo speaker setup, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy A53 5G comes in four colour variants – Peach, Blue, Black, and White. It measures 159.6 × 74.8 × 8.1mm and weighs 189grams. In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, and NFC.
