Samsung is working on its other smartphones after it launched the Galaxy S23 series. The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G have been in rumors for a long time now. Both these smartphones were listed on many certifications websites indicating that their launch is nearing. Samsung had even listed the A54 5G smartphone on its official website in the spare parts section. The smartphone had scored a repairability score of 8.4 which is greater than Galaxy S23 Ultra. A reliable tipster Steve who is popularly known as OnLeaks has revealed the launch date for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G Launch Date Revealed

The tipster revealed in a tweet that both these smartphones are set to launch globally on March 15, 2023. It is unclear whether Samsung will launch the smartphones on the same date in India. The Korean smartphone giant had skipped Galaxy A74 5G to make its way for Galaxy S23 FE. So, we expect the Galaxy A54 5G to be priced well to boost the number of sales of the Galaxy A series.

The tipster adds that even though he won’t vouch for 100% for the source, it is quite a reliable source that revealed the launch date. It is yet to determine whether Samsung will hold any unpacked events to launch the latest Galaxy A series smartphones. The Galaxy A54 was recently spotted in Google Play Console confirming the previously revealed key specifications of the smartphone. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Underneath, it will sport the Exynos 1380 chipset which is built on the 5nm process. The chipset will pair up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will run on OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. In terms of optics front, it will feature a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. A 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture will accompany the primary sensor.

The display will house the 32MP selfie camera inside the centered punch-hole. A large 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support will back the smartphone. One thing the Galaxy A series mid-range smartphone stands apart from other smartphones is the IP67 certification. Samsung will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack with the device.

In contrast, the lower Galaxy A34 is said to sport a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a 120HZ refresh rate. A MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will power the smartphone. The smartphone will have a triple-rear camera consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The display will house the 16MP selfie camera inside a dewdrop notch. It will also be backed by a 5000 mAH battery with 25W charging support.
