Samsung had launched its mid-range Galaxy A70 Android smartphone in India last month. The latest A-series smartphone from the leading South Korean consumer electronics giant has finally gone on sale in India today. You can now purchase the smartphone online via Flipkart. Apart from Flipkart, the Galaxy A70 will also be available via Samsung’s online shop, Samsung Opera House, and offline retailers starting later today.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 is priced at INR 28,990 in India for the sole variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Those of you holding an ICICI Bank credit card will be able to avail INR 2,000 cashback on purchasing the Galaxy A70 from Flipkart. The cashback offer is applicable on EMI transactions as well. In addition to the cashback offer, Flipkart is offering up to INR 17,450 off on exchange. On the Samsung online shop, customers with an HDFC Bank credit card can get INR 2,000 cashback on EMI transactions. The Galaxy A70 comes in three colors – Black, White, and Blue.

Samsung Galaxy A70’s main rival in the Indian market is the Vivo V15 Pro (review), which is also priced at INR 28,990. The Samsung mid-ranger comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display panel featuring 1080 x 2400 Full HD+ resolution and an ultra-tall 20:9 aspect ratio. Just like the Galaxy A50, you get an In-display fingerprint scanner as well. In terms of performance, the Galaxy A70 impresses with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset running under the hood. As mentioned earlier, the phone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Like other A-series Galaxy smartphones launched by Samsung this year, you get a dedicated microSD card slot on the A70 for further storage expansion up to 512GB.

Moving on to optics, Galaxy A70 has a 32MP + 8MP + 5MP triple-camera setup at the rear. On the front is a 32-megapixel snapper for selfies and video chats.
