Samsung’s Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72 smartphones are due for launch soon. We’ve seen multiple leaks regarding these devices in the last few months courtesy of benchmark listing and several certifications. In fact, a few days ago, the renders of the Galaxy A72 were even leaked online which gave us a glimpse of the device from all the angles. Now, the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G variant has appeared on the Google Play Console. The Google Play Console listing reveals the specs of the device. Additionally, it even showcases a single render of the upcoming handset where we get to see the front of the phone. Let’s check, in detail, the specs of this handset ahead:

Galaxy A72 4G Spotted on Google Play Console

The Galaxy A72 4G Google Play Console listing confirms that the display on the phone will have a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2009. We are aware from earlier leaks that the handset will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that will offer a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device appears to have a pixel density of 450ppi, as revealed through the Google Play Console listing.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A72 4G will pack Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 720G SoC, as exposed by the Google Play Console listing. The device is said to also include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, there’s supposed to be a higher-end variant of the Galaxy A72 4G, which might come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the software front, the smartphone will run Android 11 out-of-the-box with Samsung’s own One UI 3.0.


To recap, the Galaxy A72 4G is said to feature a quad-camera setup that might consist of a primary 64MP camera. The secondary camera is said to include a 8MP telephoto lens, followed by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and another 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video-calling, the smartphone might sport a 32MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. The Galaxy A72 is also supposed to have a 5G model as well. The 5G variant is supposed to feature the same set of specs that of the 4G variant, except it might make use of  Snapdragon 750G SoC. Both these models are considered to pack a 5000mAh battery that might have a 25W fast charging support.
