South Korean tech giant Samsung has finally launched the most-awaited Galaxy Book Go in the global market. The company’s latest ARM-based laptop was earlier speculated to launch at Samsung’s Unpacked April 2021, but we didn’t see an announcement about the laptop. Samsung has also launched a more powerful Galaxy Book Go 5G laptop with Snapdragon 8cx Gen-2 5G processor. Let’s have a closer look at the specifications, features, and price of the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Book Go.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go Price

Samsung Galaxy Book Go is launched with a price tag of USD 349 (approx Rs 25,484) for the only Wi-Fi variant. At this aggressive pricing, the Galaxy Book Go might give good competition to the existing Google Chromebooks. Meanwhile, the company is yet to reveal anything about the pricing of the LTE variant. Samsung confirmed that this laptop will be available for purchase starting this month in some selected markets and soon will be available for grabs across the globe.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go Specifications

The company claims that the newly launched Galaxy Book Go is a thin and lightweight laptop that is 14.9mm thin and weighs around 1.38kg. At the first glance, you might get confused with the Apple Macbook because it sports a similar design and comes in only a silver colour shade. The newly launched laptop flaunts a 14-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD resolution. The Galaxy Book Go offers a 720p webcam for selfies and video calling, it houses a stereo speaker with Dolby Audio support.

On the software front, the Galaxy Book Go runs on Windows 10 (upgradable to Windows 10 Pro). Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor, clubbed with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It also offers a microSD card slot to expand the storage in case 128GB is not enough for the users.

The Galaxy Book Go also features LTE connectivity and there is a Wi-Fi-only model as well. On the connectivity part, the laptop offers a USB 2.0 Type-A port, dual USB 3.2 Type-C ports, a Nano SIM card slot, 3.4mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 5 (2×2 MIMO), and Bluetooth 5.1. It is fuelled by a 42.3Whr battery with 25W fast charging support.
