Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro: What we know so far!
At first glance, the Buds Pro looks like a fusion of Galaxy Buds+ and Galaxy Buds Live design. Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds look a bit different compared to their predecessor. The company seems to have chosen an oval-shaped design over the circular design from its predecessor. The leaked renders also reveal the charging capsule design that looks very similar to the Galaxy Buds Live charging capsule. This is a departure from the ellipsoid-shaped design of the charging capsule from the previous generation Galaxy Buds+ and Galaxy Buds.
Earlier this week, the Galaxy Buds Pro with model number SM-R190 appeared on the FCC website. The listing revealed 58mAh battery capacity on each earbud. A few weeks back, we had spotted SM-R190 on the 3C certification which revealed the presence of a 472mAh battery. As per our understanding, this should 472mAh should be the battery capacity of the charging capsule. To those unaware, the Galaxy Buds Live case has exactly the same capacity battery.
Reportedly, the Galaxy Buds Pro will borrow ANC (also known as active noise cancellation) from the Galaxy Buds Live. The previous generation Galaxy Buds+ lack ANC. The successor to the Galaxy Buds+ is expected to launch alongside the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 in Unpacked 2021. What do you think of the Galaxy Buds Pro design?
