Samsung, back in June this year, introduced an entry-level smartphone under the F-series – the Samsung Galaxy F13. The brand is expected to launch the Galaxy F13’s successor – the Samsung Galaxy F14 smartphone in the coming weeks. Now, a new report by 91mobiles reveals that the Korean tech giant is gearing up to launch a new F-series smartphone next month in the country.
Citing an industry source, the report suggests that Samsung could launch the Samsung Galaxy F14 in January in the Indian market. The report doesn’t reveal if the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F14 will be a 4G smartphone or will support 5G connectivity. In case it supports 5G connectivity, the model number of the device could be SM-E146B/DS as it was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards certification.
In terms of specifications, the report doesn’t reveal anything. However, we can expect the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F14 to visit certification websites as the launch is scheduled for next month. It relies on an 8MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. The smartphone makes use of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the security front.
The Samsung Galaxy F13 is backed by a 6000mAh battery unit and 15W fast charging support. It makes use of a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. It comes in three colour options – Nightsky Green, Waterfall Blue, and Sunrise Copper. It weighs 207grams and measures 165.4 × 76.9 × 9.3mm
The Samsung Galaxy F13 is available in two configurations 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. The Galaxy F13 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999. Whereas, the 4GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 12,999. We can expect the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F14 to be priced under Rs 15,000 in the country.
