Samsung has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The Galaxy F22 is Samsung’s fourth smartphone under the F-series in India. The South Korean tech giant has previously launched the Galaxy F62, F12, and F02s in India. The new Samsung Galaxy smartphone under the F-series brings with a big battery and a quad-camera setup on the back. It features a 48MP primary camera setup. The phone also packs a 6000 mAh battery under the hood. The device competes against the likes of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, Realme 8 5G, POCO M3 Pro, and the likes. Samsung Galaxy F22 price in India

Samsung has launched two variants of its new Galaxy F-series phone in India. The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 12,499. Samsung has launched another variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 14,499. The phone comes in Denim Blue and Denim Black colours.

As part of the introductory offer, the device’s 4GB + 64GB variant will be available for Rs 11,499. It goes on sale starting July 13 via Flipkart and Samsung India Online Store.

Specifications and features

The new Samsung smartphone features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. It has an HD+ resolution and sports a tiny water-drop notch on top for the front camera. The device has a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

On the back is a quad-camera setup. It has a 48MP primary camera. The camera system also includes an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. Under the hood, the device packs a 6000 mAh battery. It gets support for 25W fast charging. Users, however, get a 15W charger in the box. The phone comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.

Samsung’s new phone draws power from a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 11 and has a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top.
