According to the report shared by SamMobile, the update will roll out in OTA (over-the-air) form and users who will install it will upgrade on build F415FXXU1BUAC. The update will also bring the January 2021 security patch. Further, the report also claims that the Galaxy F41 Indian user will receive the update and there is no clarity on the global variants.

The Galaxy F41 is said to be a toned-down variant of the Galaxy M31 With one less camera sensor. The M31 received the update first and the Android update for the Galaxy F41 arrived earlier than expected. The best way to install the update is over the air from the device itself. Here are some simple steps which you can follow to update your Galaxy F41.

  • First, you need to head to the settings app on your smartphone.
  • Scroll down and tap the System option.
  • Tap on the System Update and check for the new system update.
  • If the update arrives on your phone then you can see the download and install.
  • Click on download and install option and the update will start downloading.
  • Once, the installation is completed your phone will reboot and you are all set to go.

Do note that the OTA update will not immediately be available for all the smartphone, you might need to check a few times. It’s a large update so we recommend you to use a Wi-Fi network and keep your phone’s battery status more than 45 percent.
