If you have been following MySmartPrice Gear for a while now, chances are high you are aware of an upcoming Samsung smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy F41. This device from the South Korean smartphone brand was initially thought to be an affordable foldable smartphone. Recent revelations, however, seem to indicate that the Galaxy F41 will instead be a mid-range smartphone that doesn’t fold at all. The device has also appeared on multiple certification platforms, including BIS and Geekbeench, of late. Yesterday, Samsung officially confirmed the existence of the phone – and that it is coming to India – when it listed the smartphone on Flipkart. Today, the landing page for the Galaxy F41 on Flipkart has been updated with additional information – including some images that reveal the design aspects of the phone.
Here’s everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy F41 so far.
Samsung Galaxy F41 launch date
The Flipkart landing page confirms that the Samsung Galaxy F41 will be officially announced in India on October 8, 2020. The event will be live-streamed via Samsung’s official channels on the same day. Pricing and availability details will also be revealed on the same day. The phone also seems to be part of Flipkart Unique, which could mean that it will be sold exclusively on that e-commerce platform.
Samsung Galaxy F41: Expected specifications
As of writing this article, Samsung has confirmed two key specifications of the Galaxy F41. The device is confirmed to feature a 6,000mAh battery. The display, unsurprisingly, is a Super AMOLED panel with an Infinity U notch. The company is yet to reveal the display size, though. Thanks to earlier leaks, we are given to understand that the Galaxy F41 could come powered by tried and tested Exynos 9611 SoC. The variant that appeared on Geekbench came with 6GB of RAM and ran Android 10 with One UI 2.0. Thanks to a Google Play Console listing, we also know that the Samsung Galaxy F41 will also feature an FHD+ display. The camera setup is rumored to be a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary camera. The camera array can be seen clearly in the teaser images. The phone is likely to be offered in Black, Blue, and Green color options.
Anyway, we can expect Samsung to release additional details of the phone running up to the launch date.
