This 5G smartphone is likely a rebranded version of the Galaxy A22 5G launched earlier this year, according to a Bluetooth SIG listing. Samsung could launch the Galaxy F42 5G very soon. The upcoming Samsung smartphone has visited the Bluetooth SIG website ahead of its launch. The listing on Bluetooth SIG reveals that the device has the model number SM-E426B. The listing also reveals that the phone is likely a rebranded Galaxy A22 5G that could launch in other countries with a different moniker. The models listed on Bluetooth SIG are Galaxy Buddy and Galaxy Wide5.
Samsung typically launches its F-series smartphone as a rebranded version of its A-series or M-series counterparts. The Galaxy F52 5G, for instance, is a rebranded Galaxy M52 5G. The F-series mostly comes with design changes and minor spec differences. It is yet to announce the official launch date of the Galaxy F42 5G. The device has also visited the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with the same model number, hinting at an imminent launch.

Assuming that the Galaxy F42 is a rebranded Galaxy A22 5G, the device will feature a 6.6-inch IPS Full HD+ LCD with 60Hz refresh rate support.
