Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a new budget 5G smartphone in India. The company will launch the Galaxy F42 5G in India on September 29. Samsung has also confirmed that the F42 5G will be available for purchase via Flipkart upon launch. The microsite lists out some of the key specs of the upcoming Samsung smartphone. Samsung Galaxy F42 5G launches in India on September 29. Ahead of the launch, the device’s design and specs have been confirmed via Flipkart. The microsite confirms that the phone will launch in two colours – Black and Blue. It has a square-shaped camera module on the back. There is a triple-camera setup with an LED flash placed inside the module.

The camera is confirmed to feature a 64MP primary sensor. It is likely to be accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the phone has a waterdrop notch display. The microsite confirms that the phone has a 90Hz refresh rate screen with a Full HD+ resolution. Based on previous reports, it is expected that the phone will have a 6.6-inch IPS LCD.

Under the hood, the phone is rumoured to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It is likely to launch with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory. The device is confirmed to come with 12 5G bands in India. It will also pack a 5000 mAh battery under the hood. Details about the fast charging support have not been revealed yet. However, we can expect Samsung to provide 15W fast charging support.
