Samsung is yet to launch its Samsung Galaxy A01 Core smartphone on the market. Last month, we were able to spot the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core on several certification websites, which hinted at its imminent launch. Soon after that, we received the first-ever alleged renders of the device, which gave us a working clue as to what the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core had in store for us. As we await the launch of the device, a new Samsung device, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core has today been spotted on the Google Supported Devices listing, which is (strangely) going to be a rebranded Samsung Galaxy M01 Core. There is a possibility that the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core could launch as the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core in several regions. Take a look at the Google Supported Devices listing of the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core and find out what we know about the device so far.

Samsung Galaxy M01 Core could very well be a rebranded Samsung Galaxy A01 Core

Galaxy M01 Core

As seen in the Google Supported Devices listing, the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is listed as the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core smartphone, which leads us to believe that these two smartphones are the same and have different names, probably for different regions. While the listing does not explicitly tell us anything about the specifications and features of the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core, we do know some key features of its A01 Core counterpart. Notably, the device will come in two color schemes – red and blue. At the front, the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core will have an HD resolution with a 720 x 1,480 pixel resolution and a screen density of 320 DPI.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core (and the A01 Core) will be powered by a MediaTek MT6739 processor, which will have 4x ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1500MHz. The chipset will be paired with a PowerVR GE8100 GPU and 1GB of RAM. On the software side of things, the device(s) will boot the latest Android 10 OS out of the box.

For now, this is all that we have on the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core smartphone, but we are certain that we will receive more intel on the same in the coming days. Whenever we do, we will keep you posted on the same. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M01 Core? Do let us know in the comments section below.
