It was only a couple of days ago that we learned that Samsung is working on a new budget smartphone, the Galaxy A01 Core. And earlier today it was leaked that Samsung is working on the Galaxy M01 Core as well. Now, we have spotted the Galaxy M01 Core on Geekbench. Let us have a look at what it reveals.
Samsung Galaxy M01 Core listed on Geekbench
The Geekbench listing that we have come across is for a Samsung phone with model number SM-M013F, which, we know from a leak that popped up earlier today, is the Galaxy M01 Core.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy M01 Core has the MediaTek MT6739WW SoC. This chipset features four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and PowerVR GE8100. So, when the Galaxy M01 Core goes on sale, it will have the weakest processor among all the Samsung smartphone on sale. According to Geekbench, the phone has 2GB of RAM and it runs on the Android 10 operating system. The Galaxy M01 Core has scored 575 points in the single-core test and 1,654 points in the multi-core test in Geekbench 4.2.0 benchmark.
