Here's how the newly-launched Galaxy M01 fares against the Narzo 10A and the Moto G8 Power Lite.

Samsung had announced its entry-level smartphone called the Galaxy M01 in India. It was launched alongside the Galaxy M11 for a price of Rs 8,999. The phone competes with two other recently launched budget smartphones called the Moto G8 Power Lite and the Realme Narzo 10A. Let’s see how all the three devices compare with each other in terms of specs, features, and price.

The Galaxy M01 happens to be priced at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version of the device which is the only configuration the phone is available in. The Moto G8 Power Lite is also priced at Rs 8,999 for a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version. Realme Narzo 10A is priced at Rs 8,499 for the single 3GB RAM + 32GB version. Since the Moto G8 Power offers more RAM and storage at a comparable price, it is the winner.

The Galaxy M01 offers a small 5.71-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The Moto G8 Power Lite has a bigger 6.5-inch display which also has HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The Realme Narzo 10A has the same display as the Moto G8 Power Lite with a 6.5-inch screen and HD+ resolution display. Since both the G8 Power Lite and Realme Narzo 10A have the same display which is bigger than the Galaxy M01, this will be a tie.

The Galaxy M01 happens to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and it has only 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. In comparison, the Moto G8 Power happens to have Helio P35 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Narzo 10A,  on the other hand, runs on a much more powerful Helio G70 chipset but has the same 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version. All phones are running an Android skin on top of Android 10. From the specs, we can say that the Narzon 10A is the winner here with better processing at a lower price.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy M01 has a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary camera supported by a 2MP depth sensor. The Moto G8 Power Lite packs in a triple-camera setup at the back with a 16MP primary sensor supported by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For the Realme Narzo 10A there is also a triple-camera layout but with the primary sensor being a 12MP lens supported by the same 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro shooter. On the front, the Galaxy M01, G8 Power Lite, Narzo 10A have 8MP, 8MP, and 5MP selfie shooters respectively. Based on the total megapixel count, the winner in this category is the Moto G8 Power Lite.
