Samsung has launched a new budget smartphone in India today. The Samsung Galaxy M04 has been officially launched on Amazon and it is priced at under Rs 10,000 in the country. Weeks after spotting the device on various certification websites, the company has finally made it official.

The latest M-series smartphone packs some decent specs and has a Galaxy M13-like design. The Samsung Galaxy M04 comes with features like a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution, a large 5000mAh battery, a 13MP primary camera sensor on the back, up to 128GB of expandable storage, and much more. Samsung Galaxy M04 Price in India, Sale Date

The Samsung Galaxy M04 comes in a single configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is priced at Rs 8,499 on Amazon India. However, the company is teasing another variant with 128GB inbuilt storage, so we can expect the company to launch another configuration within a few days.

The device will go on sale from December 16 at 12 PM. The company had already teased its price between Rs 8,000 to Rs 9,000 during the launch announcement.

It will be available in three colours: Mint Green, Gold, White, and Blue.

Samsung Galaxy M04 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M04 features a 6.4-inch display with an HD+ resolution. The company has not confirmed whether it has used an IPS, TFT or an AMOLED display. On the front, it has a waterdrop notch to house the front sensor. The company is not teasing any high refresh rate display on the Galaxy M04, so we can speculate that it’s a 60Hz panel only.

The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6765 processor, which is basically an Helio P35 chipset. The System-on-chip (SoC) is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB o inbuilt storage. Furthermore, it features Samsung’s RAM Plus technology which is essentially the Virtual RAM feature. On heavy tasking, it will start taking up to 4GB of memory from internal storage and act as an extended RAM which will help in boosting the device’s performance.

The device boots Android 12 based OneUI 4.1 out of the box. Samsung has promised that the Galaxy M04 will receive two years of major Operating System (OS) updates.

The Galaxy M04 packs a 5,000mAh battery unit inside it which supports up to 15W charging. It is not confirmed whether the company is shipping the charger with the box or not.

Coming to the optics, it features a dual rear camera setup. The main sensor of 13-megapixels is attached to a 2-megapixels depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it uses a 5MP front shooter.
