Samsung Galaxy M04 Smartphone Appears on Wi-Fi Alliance Certification Website, Could Launch Soon

The Samsung Galaxy M04 has been in the news for a couple of months now. The device was spotted on Geekbench back in July and the same device was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards or BIS website a couple of weeks back. The upcoming Galaxy smartphone is expected to launch soon in India as well as globally.

While the company is yet to confirm the launch date of the device, the forthcoming smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy M04 has been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website gaining yet another certification before the official launch. Let’s take a look at the details.

Samsung Galaxy M04 Wi-Fi Alliance Listing Details

The Samsung Galaxy M04 with SM-M045F/DS model number has been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website. This is the same model number which was also spotted on Geekbench and BIS websites. The listing reveals that the upcoming Galaxy M series phone will come with support for single-band Wi-Fi. The Samsung Galaxy M04 will support only the 2.4GHz band and there is no mention of 5GHz support.

Further, the device will run on Android 12 OS, which will be based on OneUI 4.0 skin. The Wi-Fi standard will be as follows 一 Wi-Fi b/g/n. The DS in the model number indicates the Dual SIM version. Apart from these aforementioned details, the Wi-Fi Alliance site does not reveal much.

Based on the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M04 will come with 3GB of RAM, but we can expect more RAM and storage options for the same. The upcoming M series device will come with an octa-core processor with a base clock speed of 2.3GHz. This could be the MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which is an entry-level processor. We have seen the same chipset on phones like Realme C21, Redmi 9 Activ, Redmi 9C, Nokia G20, and more phones.
