Alongside the Galaxy M30s, Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy M10s today for Indian consumers. The phone gets some much-needed upgrades over its predecessor the Galaxy M10 (review) such as an AMOLED screen, more storage, and a larger battery.
Samsung Galaxy M10s Price in India, Availability
Just like the Galaxy M30s, the Galaxy M10s will be going on sale via Amazon and Samsung’s E-retail site from September 29. This is the same time when the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale commences. The Galaxy M10s is offered in a single 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration that gets a special introductory price of INR 8,999. This price will likely be raised a bit sometime after it goes on its first sale. When it comes to color options, you have the Piano Black and Stone Blue options to choose from.
Samsung Galaxy M10s Specifications, Features
The Galaxy M10s now comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity-V Super AMOLED display as opposed to the TFT panel used on the M10. The resolution is about the same at 720 x 1520 pixels. We have a new Exynos 7884B chipset on this phone with an octa-core processor that clocks as high as 1.6GHz. Storage also gets a bump to 3GB/32GB, whereas the older model offered a base configuration of 2GB/16GB. The battery capacity also sees a boost to 4000mAh, and the handset even ships with a 15W charger.
Another notable upgrade on the Galaxy M10s is the inclusion of a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. As for imaging, the rear setup remains the same with a 13MP primary camera that is accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide sensor. That said, you will be able to take marginally better selfies thanks to the use of an 8MP sensor as opposed to the 5MP camera found on the last-gen handset.
