Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy M11 and M01 smartphones in the Indian market after the devices had been leaked quite thoroughly online leading up to the day of the launch. The Galaxy M01 is currently only India-specific while the Galaxy M11 had been launched earlier in the year in UAE. Both the devices are targeted at the budget smartphone segment where they will face competition from the likes of the Realme and Xiaomi.

Galaxy M01 and M11: Price and availability
The Samsung Galaxy M01 has been priced starting at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version which is the only configuration available for the device. The Galaxy M11, however, has two storage versions which are 3GB RAM + 32GB storage along with 4GB RAM + 64GB priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. Galaxy M01: Price and specifications
The Galaxy M01 has been leaked in full ahead of the launch date so the specs are not something new. The phone has a 5.71-inch TFT display with an Infinity V notch housing the selfie shooter and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Powering the setup happens to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. A dual-camera layout flank the back of the device with the primary sensor having a resolution of 13MP and the secondary sensor is a 2MP lens. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie shooter.
As far as connectivity goes the phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Powering the entire setup is a 4,000mAh battery with support for only 5W charging. Authentication on the phone can be done using only a face unlock as the device does not have a fingerprint sensor. Software-wise the phone runs on Android 10-based OneUI 2.0.
Galaxy M11: Price and specifications
The Galaxy M11 has a 6.4-inch HD+ display that has an Infinity O panel ie a punch-hole for the selfie shooter and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powering the setup happens to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and supported with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card. On the optics front, the Galaxy M11 has a triple-camera layout with a 13MP primary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera housed in the punch-hole happens to be an 8MP sensor.
On the connectivity front, the phone has dual-SIM 4G VoLTE support along with Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a 5,000mAh battery housed inside the phone with 15W charging support. Like the M01, the M11 will also run on Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 skin by Samsung.
