Samsung is gearing up to launch a new smartphone under its mid-range M-series – Samsung Galaxy M23 5G. The upcoming handset has already been spotted on several certification websites including FCC, NBTC, and Bluetooth SIG. It had also appeared on the Geekbench benchmark database. Now, we have spotted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M23 5G on the Google Play Console database. The latest listing also reveals some of the key specifications of the upcoming Galaxy smartphone. The Galaxy M23 5G appeared on the Google Play Console database with model number SM-M236B. The listing reveals that the device will feature a Full HD+ resolution display with 1080 × 2408 pixel and 450ppi pixel density.

The listing further reveals that the system on chip on the device will be the Qualcomm SM7225 and will have 2 × Kryo 560 cores and 6 × Kryo 560 cores. Based on this, the Galaxy M23 5G will be equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. The listing also confirms that the device will come with an Adreno 619 GPU and 6GB of RAM.

To those unaware, the Snapdragon 750G is fabbed on an 8nm process and brings with it an integrated X52 modem. The same processor powers several other popular mid-range smartphones including OnePlus Nord Core EditionXiaomi Mi 10i, and Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.

The upcoming Galaxy M23 5G will come pre-loaded with Android 12 based OneUI, as confirmed in the Geekbench listing. The handset will be equipped with 25W fast charging support. However, the battery capacity of the device is still unknown.
