The former costs INR 14,990, while the latter is priced at INR 17,990. To attract people, Samsung is offering a 5% instant discount on the device when using HDFC cards. Additionally, people buying the Galaxy M30 will get double data from Jio, where the users will get twice the data (up to 10 recharges) that their recharge plan offers.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Specifications

While most other smartphones in the price range offer an IPS LCD, the Samsung Galaxy M30 features a Super AMOLED display, giving it an edge over its competitors. The Super AMOLED display will result in better visibility under sunlight, and a vibrant color tone, as compared to an IPS LCD. The display itself is a 6.4-inch unit with Full HD+ resolution.

Another area where the Galaxy M30 has an edge over its competitors is in the camera department. The device features a triple-camera setup at the back, whereas, most of its competitors max out at two cameras. This triple-camera setup has a 13MP main sensor with phase-detection autofocus and f/1.9 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture to capture wide images, and a 5MP depth-sensor with f/2.2 aperture to aid in portrait images. What’s even better is that the rear camera can also record 4K videos. For selfies, the Galaxy M30 features a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy M30 is powered by the Exynos 7904 SoC, which has two high-performance cores for heavy tasks, and six power-efficient cores for handling lighter tasks. Taking care of the graphics is the Mali-G72 MP2 GPU. The device runs on Android 9 Pie OS along with Samsung’s UI customization. The Galaxy M30 comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. The device has a dedicated microSD card slot, meaning, unlike many budget smartphones out there, you can use two SIM cards and a microSD card at the same time on the Galaxy M30.

One of the main highlights of the Galaxy M30 is its massive 5000mAh battery, making it a smartphone with one of the highest battery capacities in the market. Samsung is promising 25 hours of video playback, 31 hours of talk time, and 105 hours of music playback time on a single charge on the Galaxy M30. To make things even better, Samsung has equipped the device with 15W fast charging. Good news doesn’t end there. The device also has a USB Type-C port, meaning that plugging-in and removing the charging cable is now easier than ever.

The Samsung Galaxy M30 features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, Dolby Atmos audio, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, and dual-SIM option with dual-VoLTE. You can get the Galaxy M30 in either Gradation Blue or Gradation Black color variants.
