The Samsung Galaxy M30 price in India is INR 14,990 for the 4GB RAM+64GB Storage variant and INR 17,990 for the 6GB RAM+128GB Storage variant. It is launched with Blue and Black color options.

The phone will be exclusively up for sale via Amazon and Samsung’s online store. The Galaxy M30 is the third smartphone to be launched under the Galaxy M-series. The company earlier launched the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 in India. The Galaxy M30 will go on sale on March 5, 2019, on both Amazon India and Samsung India website.

Samsung Galaxy M30 With Infinity-U AMOLED Screen, Triple Rear Cameras, Massive Battery

As we stated above, the Galaxy M30 is a more beefed up phone in the M-series. The phone comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED panel bearing 2220X1080 pixels resolution. The Infinity-U panel is slightly different from the Infinity-V panel, although both of them house the front camera, it is the shape that makes the difference. The Infinity-V looks like the waterdrop notch while the Infinity-U is in U-shape.

An Exynos 7904 processor (as on the Galaxy M20 too) powers the Galaxy M30 with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage. On the software side, the phone runs Android 9 Pie with Samsung Experience UI layered on top. The Galaxy M30 is also geared with Widevine L1 certification that enables high-def content streaming on platforms like Netflix and Prime Video. For optics, the phone boasts a 13MP(f1.9) + 5MP (Live Focus) + 5MP (Ultra-wide lens) triple lens setup on the rear. It has a 16MP (F2.0) selfie snapper on the front. A massive 5,000mAh with 15W Fast Charge and USB Type C connectivity backs the Galaxy M30. For biometrics, the phone supports software-assisted Face Unlock and also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The storage on the phone is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

While on one hand, Xiaomi is all set with its Redmi Note 7, the Galaxy M30 could very well be a game-changer for Samsung with its premium features like triple-camera, AMOLED screen, and a massive 5,000mAh battery supported by fast-charging. Besides, Samsung’s goodwill may come around as a contributing factor as it did for the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. It would be quite interesting to see how the Galaxy M30 sets itself in the segment.
