A few years ago, leaks at the manufacturing stage used to come exclusively from China. But since then many mobile manufacturers have moved their factories to India. Little wonder then that the latest leak regarding an upcoming smartphone phone comes from Noida. According to 91Mobiles, they have received the rear panel images of the Galaxy M30s from the pre-production phase from Samsung‘s Noida plant.

From the images, you can tell that the South Korean company’s next mid-range smartphone features a plastic back with the glossy finish just like the original M30. You can also tell that the phone comes with a dual SIM support along with a dedicated microSD card slot. Moreover, the Galaxy M30s will feature a USB Type C port and a good-old 3.5 mm audio jack. Last month we got to know from our sources that the phone will be available in black, blue, and white hues at launch.

The outline of the Galaxy M30s’ camera module seems wider and shorter compared to its predecessor. This could mean that Samsung might equip the upcoming phone with a dual camera setup instead of a triple one found on the original Galaxy M30. Since the phone was spotted on Geekbench, we have the following details regarding its specifications.

Galaxy M30s Specifications

The Galaxy M30s with model number SM-M307F has scored 1,680 points in Geekbench 4’s single-core CPU test and 5,211 points in the multi-core CPU test. The chipset details suggest that the phone will run Exynos 9610 chipset. This processor is based on 10 nm fabrication technology with four Cortex-A73 performance cores and four energy efficient Cortex-A53 cores. For gaming, the phone will rely on its Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The M30s will be undoubtedly faster than the M30 powered by the Exynos 7904 chip.

Other features include 4 GB LP-DDR4X RAM, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, and 4K video recording capabilities. The phone will come in 64 GB and 128 GB variants. The phone is expected to feature 5,000 mAh battery just like its predecessor. It will come with 15W fast charging support for quick top-up times. On the software side of things, the handset will offer Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI 1.1 software on top. While there is no official word on its release, the Galaxy M30s is likely to launch in August priced under Rs 20,000.
