Samsung announced the roll-out schedule for Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 update for eligible devices earlier this month. Earlier today, the Korean tech giant started rolling out the Android 11 Stable update for Galaxy S10 Lite in several regions including India. Now, the company has announced Galaxy M31 OneUI 3.0 Beta program in India. With this, the Galaxy M31 becomes the first mid-range Galaxy device to receive OneUI 3.0 Beta update. The company took it to the Samsung Community to make a formal announcement.

Samsung Galaxy M31 OneUI 3.0 Beta update comes with firmware version M315FDDU2ZTLF, and brings Android 11 to the smartphone. The update also brings the latest December 2020 Android security patch to the Galaxy M31. OneUI 3.0 Beta update also brings a new UX, faster performance, and improved security along with optimizations to M31.

How to get OneUI 3.0 Beta Update on Samsung Galaxy M31

Samsung Galaxy M31 users in India can head over to the Samsung Members app and click on OneUI 3.0 Beta program registration banner. Users will receive the update on their devices as soon as they’re accepted into the program. After applying for the program, users can head over to Settings -> Software update and check if the update is available for them. The company recommends users to take a backup of their important data before proceeding with the installation. The company also warns users that certain features in some apps may not work after the update.

As per the schedule, Galaxy M31 was supposed to receive Android 11 update in March 2021 along with Galaxy A51.
