Samsung has added a new smartphone in its M-series portfolio with the addition of the Galaxy M31 Prime in India. The company has finally launched the phone in the country with a similar configuration and design format as the standard Galaxy M31. However, the Prime edition of the phone comes with a new colour option, Super AMOLED displays with waterdrop notch, quad-camera setup, Exynos processor, a massive 6,000mAh battery, and a lot more among the others. Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime India Price

Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime launched in India with a price tag of Rs 16,499. The smartphone will be up for grabs in Ocean Blue, Space Black and Iceberg Blue colour options. The Galaxy M31 Prime will be available for purchase via Amazon India, Samsung website, and selected retail stores. Amazon is also providing Rs 1,000 cashback to its prime customers who purchase the phone on October 16th and the cashback will be credited to the Amazon Pay balance.

Meanwhile, the e-commerce website is also offering an instant discount of 10 percent on HDFC credit and debit card purchase. Amazon Great India Festival Sale starts on October 17th of non-Prime members.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime draws power from the in-house Exynos 9611 chipset, paired with Mali-G72MP3 GPU. The handset is backed by a 6GB RAM, and up to 128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. The Galaxy M31 Prime flaunts a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. It also houses a waterdrop notch cutout to accommodate a selfie camera sensor in it.

On the camera front, the Galaxy M31 Prime offers a quad-camera setup with the combination of a 64-megapixel primary camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree field of view + 5-megapixel depth sensor + 5-megapixel macro lens, along with an LED flash.

Under the waterdrop notch cutout, the smartphone houses a 32-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy M31 Prime is fuelled by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support and runs on Android 10-based OneUI 2.1 custom skin out of the box.
