Samsung has teased the launch of a new M-series smartphone in India. The company has confirmed the Galaxy M34 5G launch in the country. The support page of the upcoming Samsung smartphone went live recently on the Indian website. Samsung has now officially teased the launch but did not reveal the launch date. The Amazon microsite of the Galaxy M34 5G indicates that the smartphone is “coming soon.”

The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G will be one of the new mid-range smartphones launching soon in India. The phone’s design has been officially teased. The Amazon microsite reveals that the Galaxy M34 5G will launch in India in two colours — Blue and Green. The teaser video shows that the phone will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be three circular cutouts, each housing a camera sensor. Next to the camera sensors is the LED flash module.
The phone’s frame and rear seem to be curved. One of the teasers also shows that the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner below the volume rocker.
In addition to the above details, tipster Abhishek Yadav has listed some of the specs of the phone. Based on the leaked specifications, it is likely that the Galaxy M34 5G will be a rebadged version of the Galaxy A34 5G.
The phone will likely feature a 6.6-inch sAMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It will offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is likely to sport a notch at the top for the front camera.
On the back, the device might feature a 48MP primary camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone might offer a 13MP front camera.
The Galaxy M34 5G will likely feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, which has been rebranded as the Dimensity 7050 SoC. We can expect Samsung to launch the phone with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone will likely pack a beefy 5000mAh battery and offer 25W fast charging support.
It will feature the latest Android 13 update and have a layer of One uI 5.1 on top. Other specifications include support for Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, USB 2.0 Type-C port, etc. The phone will likely weigh around 199 grams and measure 8.2mm in thickness.
Samsung Galaxy M34 5G: Expected Price in India
Samsung will announce the price of the Galaxy M34 5G at the launch. Looking at the leaked specs, we can expect the Galaxy M34 5G price in India to start at under Rs 25,000 for the base model. The Galaxy M33 5G, its predecessor, was launched at a starting price of Rs 18,999 for the base 6GB + 128GB storage option. Looking at the number of upgrades, coupled with an increase in the cost of components, it would not be a surprise if the Galaxy M34 5G receives a price bump over the outgoing model.
