Samsung might launch a new Galaxy M series smartphone soon. The company is likely to launch the Galaxy M34 5G as its new mid-range smartphone in various markets. The device will debut as a successor to the Galaxy M33 5G, which was launched last year in India. Samsung has not confirmed any details about the launch of the Galaxy M34 5G. However, the launch seems imminent as the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M series smartphone has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website.
Alongside the Galaxy M34 5G, the Galaxy F34 5G has also been listed on the BIS website. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G, Galaxy F34 5G specifications, features and other details known so far.
The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G and Galaxy F34 5G are likely to launch in India and other markets in the coming weeks. Both phones have been spotted on the BIS website. The BIS listing reveals that the Galaxy M34 5G has the model number SM-M346B/DS, whereas the Galaxy F34 5G has the model number SM-E346B/DS.
The listing, unfortunately, does not confirm any other specs of the phone. However, it does suggest that the Galaxy M34 5G and Galaxy F34 5G will launch soon in various markets.
This is perhaps the first time that both phones have been spotted on any certification website. Therefore, not much is known about the Galaxy M34 5G or the Galaxy F34 5G. Samsung typically has some hardware similarities when it comes to phones in the Galaxy F series, M series and A series of a particular generation. In the case of the Galaxy F34 5G and Galaxy M34 5G, the phones could borrow some specs from the Galaxy A34 5G, which was launched recently in India.
The Galaxy A34 5G features a Dimensity 1080 SoC. It comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. There is a triple-camera setup on the back with a 48MP main camera with OIS support. The device also features an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front camera.
The Galaxy A34 5G has a waterdrop notch at the top of the screen, which is 6.6 inches tall. It has a flat AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. There is an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and support for AI face unlock. It runs Android 13 out of the box and has One UI 5 on top.
Samsung might launch the Galaxy M34 5G and Galaxy F34 5G with almost the same specs while making some hardware changes here and there. We will share more details about the same as and when available.
