We have now spotted the support page of the Galaxy M51 on Samsung’s official website for Russia. This is the first confirmation from the brand regarding the existence of the device. The model that we have spotted on Samsung’s website comes bearing the model number SM-M515FZKDSER.

We have now spotted the Samsung Galaxy M51 on the Global Certification Forum. The certification on the platform mentions the model number of the smartphone, SM-M515F. The GFC reveals that the Galaxy M51 supports up to 4G cellular networks.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 has now been certified through NBTC agency. The NBTC certification reveals that the device has up to 4G cellular support.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is an upcoming mid-range smartphone from Samsung. The phone is said to make its global debut in the Indian market. As we had exclusively reported, the Galaxy M51 is set to launch in September. While the launch of the smartphone is still a month away, we have now spotted it on the FCC platform, which reveals a bunch of key details regarding the smartphone. Let us have a look.

Samsung Galaxy M51 gets FCC certification

The FCC certification of the Galaxy M51 contains screenshots of the ‘About Phone’ menu of the smartphone, which clearly mentions the retail name of the device and also its model number, SM-M515F. This screenshot has two IMEI numbers, confirming that the device has dual-SIM connectivity. The FCC certification also has a screenshot of the ‘Status’ menu of the smartphone, which reveals that the phone has 25W (9V x 2.77A) charging support. There is also a screenshot of the ‘Settings’ menu but it doesn’t reveal any useful information.

An FCC document of the Galaxy M51 reveals that the phone has Wi-Fi ac, NFC, Bluetooth, and 4G connectivity and that the device will ship with EP-TA800 travel adaptor with 25W power output and Samsung EP-DA705BBE earphones with the ‘White & Black’ color scheme. Another document reveals that the device measures 9cm x 5cm and that the diagonal dimension of the phone is in between 160mm and 200mm. Now that the Galaxy M51 bagged the FCC certification, its launch seems imminent. It device could launch in September after all, just as we had reported a few weeks ago.

Samsung Galaxy M51 specs we know so far

The Geekbench listing of the Galaxy M51 reveals that the phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and Android 10 operating system. A leak that came in last month suggests that the phone comes equipped with a 64MP primary camera at the rear accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide angle camera. The device is said to have an AMOLED display with a punch-hole and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
