The Korean tech giant – Samsung recently launched its M-series handset – the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G in the Indian market. The mid-range Galaxy handset will be available for purchase for the first time today in the country. The all-new Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is the company’s first M-series handset with a 108MP camera setup. With the 108MP camera setup, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G will go against the likes of the Xiaomi 11i, OnePlus Nord CE 2, and the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G.

The latest M-series handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and up to 8GB of RAM. Other highlights of the smartphone include a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 32MP selfie shooter, and a 5000mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy M53 5G: Price in India, Launch Offers, and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G comes in two configurations – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The base variant of the device is priced at Rs 26,499. While the 8GB RAM variant costs Rs 28,499 in the country.

As a launch offer, Samsung is offering a Rs 2,500 instant discount with ICICI Credit Cards. For the existing M-series customers, the brand is also offering additional Rs 2,000 exchange bonus.

The handset will be available for purchase starting today exclusively via Amazon, but only to Amazon Prime customers. For non-prime users, the sale starts tomorrow, i.e., April 29.

Samsung Galaxy M53 5G: Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G offers a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is an Infinity-O display that features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M53 5G packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor coupled with an integrated Mali G68 GPU. The handset boots OneUI 4.1, which is based on Android 12.

The all-new Galaxy M53 offers a quad-rear camera setup including a 108MP primary sensor. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 32MP front shooter inside a punch hole notch.

The latest M-series handset is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit and 25W fast charging support. However, similar to other mid-range Galaxy handsets, the Galaxy M53 5G also doesn’t come with a charging adapter. It offers a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a (hybrid) micro-SD card slot, and Dolby Atmos audio.

The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G comes in two colour options – Deep Ocean Blue and Mystique Green. The handset weighs 176grams and measures 164.7×77.0×7.4mm. In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Glonass, and NFC.
