Samsung Galaxy M53 5G India Launch Confirmed, Amazon Availability Teased

The Galaxy M53 was launched earlier this month in select markets. Its pricing details are currently under wraps. However, we have some details about the specifications. For starters, the phone has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. It also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen is flat and has thin bezels, except for the slightly thick chin.

Under the hood, the phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung might offer more RAM and storage options for the Indian market. If not, users will have to rely on a microSD card for storage expansion up to 1TB.

On the back, the phone has a quad-camera setup. The phone has a 108MP main camera sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). There is an 8MP ultrawide camera sensor and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro photography. The device has a 32MP front camera sensor. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock.

The device packs a 5000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It weighs 176 grams and measures 77.0 x 164.7 x 7.4mm. Lastly, the Samsung phone boots Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
