Samsung Galaxy S20 FE or ‘Fan Editon’ has been launched globally at an Unpacked event. The latest flagship smartphone is the latest edition to the popular Galaxy S20 series and the brand says it has been designed while keeping its fans feedback in mind. The device comes loaded with a host of interesting features including 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 865 processor, triple-camera setup, long battery life, and more. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE price starts at $699 (approx. INR 51,400) for the 5G variant, while there is no information about the price of the 4G model. The smartphone comes in seven colour options including Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy and Cloud White. The phone goes on sale from October 2nd. There is no word about Galaxy S20 FE India price and availability.

Jumping straight the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is loaded with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 407ppi pixel density, and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is offered in two variants. The 5G model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor along with Adreno 650 GPU. The 4G variant is powered by the Samsung Exynos 990 processor with Mali-G77 MP11 GPU. It comes with IP68 certification making it water and dust resistant.
The handset is backed by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB with microSD card. In terms of optics, the device comes with a triple-camera setup with a combination of 12MP primary lens with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree FoV, and 8MP telephoto lens with OIS, 3X optical zoom, and up to 30x digital zoom. On the front, the phone features 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE runs on Android 10 with OneUI on top of it. It packs 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging, though it ships with a 15W charger in the box. The phone also supports Qi wireless fast charging and Wireless PowerShare feature. On the connectivity front, it supports 5G SA/NSA Sub6 / mmWave (Optional), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, and MST. The phone measures 74.5 x 159.8 x 8.4 mm and weighs 190 grams.
