Samsung’s upcoming flagship lineup of smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, still has about four days before it’s launched. That, however, has not stopped the leaks from popping up on the internet. The latest one comes in the form of an official listing, that has not only showcased the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S20 in all its glory but has also revealed almost all of its key specifications. The Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphone has been spotted on the Amazon product page, which, by now, has been taken down, but it still did not stop the eagle-eyed ones out there to capture some screenshots.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Amazon Listing Reveals its Specifications and a Color Variant
The Amazon UAE website has mistakenly listed the Samsung Galaxy S20 ahead of the launch. The listing reveals the model number of the device – SM-G980F, which corresponds to the LTE variant of the Samsung Galaxy S20 device that has already been spotted on various certification websites. The listing clearly shows the Cloud Blue color variant of the device. Coming to the specifications, we can see that the Samsung Galaxy S20 will sport a 6.2-inch Infinity-O display, which will feature a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is tipped to be a Dynamic AMOLED panel, and the resolution of the device will notably be QHD+.
For optics, the Samsung Galaxy S20 will rely on a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. The camera will be capable of capturing up to 8k videos at 30fps. Adding to the camera array will be two more sensors – a 12MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. At the front, the Samsung Galaxy S20 will house a 10MP selfie snapper.
Powering the device will be the company’s in-house Exynos 990 chipset, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. There, however, will likely be more storage variants of the device. A 4,000mAh battery will fuel the device. For software, the Samsung Galaxy S20 will run on Android 10 out of the box, with One UI 2.0 running on top of it.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the Amazon listing reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S20 will be priced at AED 3,112, which roughly translates to somewhere around $850. The listed price falls in line with the previously leaked price of the device.
