There has been a lot of confusion lately over the launch of the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE). Reports previously claimed that Samsung has halted the production of the S21 FE due to supply constraints. Samsung later refuted these claims without confirming the launch timeline of the affordable Galaxy S21 smartphone. It is expected that the device will launch in August or September this year. While we wait for the official confirmation, some key details have surfaced online. The Galaxy S21 FE has visited the 3C and TUV certification website. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE listed on certification websites
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S21 FE later this year. Ahead of the launch, the device has been spotted on the 3C certification website. The device listed on the website has the model number SM-G990B. The device, dubbed the Galaxy S21 FE, will support 25W fast charging. Other details of the smartphone were not listed on the 3C website.
The smartphone has also visited the TUV Rheinland certification website, confirming the leaked fast charging details. It was previously rumoured to pack a 4,500 mAh battery. The device had also visited the Geekbench website earlier this month. It revealed that the phone draws power from a Snapdragon 888 SoC. The device will have at least 8GB of RAM and run Android 11 out of the box.
Some other details of the Galaxy S21 FE have leaked in the past. It is rumoured to come with a triple-camera setup on the back. As per rumours, the Galaxy S21 FE will come with a 12MP primary camera. It will be accompanied by another 12MP sensor for ultrawide shooting. Lastly, there will be an 8MP telephoto sensor.
On the front, there will be a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a hole punch cutout at the top centre. The device is likely to come with a 120Hz refresh rate support as well.
