Samsung could launch the Galaxy S21 FE in October, according to some tipsters. The device is likely to launch in the US and Europe.

Tipster Tron states that Samsung is considering launching the device in October in select markets. These include the US and Europe. According to the tipster, Samsung is also among the list of manufacturers affected by the global chip shortage. The company had reportedly decided to ditch launching the Galaxy Note 21 series for the same reason. Samsung is said to have considered market reliability and launch the S21 FE in Europe and the US. There is no mention of launching the device in India at the time of writing this.

Another tipster, Chun, claims that Samsung’s plans to launch the S21 FE in October could change. The company’s current launch timeline suggests that the device will launch in October at the earliest. However, there could be a delay based on the current market situation.

Samsung is yet to make an official announcement on the S21 FE launch date. Meanwhile, the device has visited various certification websites ahead of the launch. The US variant of the device with the model number SM-G990U was listed on Geekbench. It has also visited the 3C and TUV certification websites, revealing some key specs.

Design renders of the device have also leaked in the past. The phone is rumoured to feature a flat 6.4-inch 120Hz display. It will have a hole-punch cutout on the top-centre area. Samsung could launch the device in South Korea between 700,000 to 800,000 won (Rs 45,846 – Rs 52,395). In comparison, the Galaxy S20 FE was launched for 899,800 won (Rs 58,926) in the country.
