Leaks and rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE have been popping on the web for the last few months. The handset is expected to launch next month, i.e., January 2022. In a new development, complete specifications of the upcoming handset have now been leaked, courtesy of Sammobiles. Let us take a look at what the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition might have in store for Samsung Galaxy fans.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Leaked Specifications

The upcoming S-series handset will offer a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. The display panel will make room for the selfie shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch. We can expect the handset to offer an optical in-display fingerprint scanner as well.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. However, like every other Galaxy S-series handset, the company will use its in-house Exynos counterpart – Exynos 2100 in certain regions. The handset has already been spotted on Geekbench a few times with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. Users will have an option to choose between 128GB and 256GB onboard storage options. Sammobiles report suggests that the storage won’t be expandable as the company has decided to skip the micro-SD card slot.

The upcoming Galaxy S21 FE will offer a triple-rear camera and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the handset will be a 12MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Accompanying it will be a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The handset will also offer an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It is also said to feature a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Previous leaks have suggested that the device might come with a 4,370mAh battery. Sammobiles report adds that the handset will be equipped with 25W wired fast-charging and 15W wireless charging. The device will boot Android 12 out of the box and will support three major android updates, so it will be upgradable up to Android 15. It will also offer IP68 water resistance rating. Though the report doesn’t reveal the pricing of the handset, speculations are that it will cost about $699 for the base variant. What do you think of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE?
