Samsung had launched the 5G variants of Galaxy S20 series in the International markets. However, in India, the company decided to make the 4G variants available. For the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, the company is said to launch the 5G variants of the three flagship smartphones in India, according to Agarwal. The Galaxy S21 series smartphones have model numbers SM-G991B, SM-G996B, SM-G998B.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series specifications were leaked recently by Android Police. According to the report, all three devices will come with two processor variants – Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC and Exynos 2100. Samsung is likely to bring the Galaxy S21 series with an Exynos 2100 chip in India.

Galaxy S21 will pack a 4,000 mAh battery, and the Galaxy S21+ will have a 4,800 mAh cell. The Ultra model will come with a 5,000 mAh battery. All three smartphones will come with a minimum 25W fast charging support.

The Galaxy S21 and S21+ will sport 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively. Both smartphones will come with a Full HD+, 120Hz refresh rate display. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other hand, will come with a 6.8-inch WQHD+ display with an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. The Ultra variant will also get support for S Pen, although it would not have a dedicated slot. Samsung is planning to sell cases that will store the S Pen outside the body of the phone.

Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with a plastic back in Phantom Violet, Phantom Gray, Phantom White, and Phantom Pink colour options. The Plus model will be available in Phantom Silver, Phantom Black, and Phantom Violet.

Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a glass back in Phantom Silver and Phantom Black colours.

In terms of optics, Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ are fairly similar to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+. They are likely to house a 12MP wide, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 64MP telephoto lens.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra will get significant improvements in the camera department. There will be an improved 108MP sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and two telephoto lenses with 3x optical telephoto and a 10x optical “super” telephoto.
