Samsung introduced the Ultra model with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series earlier this year. The Korean smartphone giant also launched another Ultra model with Galaxy Note 20 series a few months back. Samsung Galaxy Note series devices cater to power smartphone users with a major focus on productivity. For which the company bundles an S-Pen, which to date has remained exclusive to Note series smartphones, and S-series tables. Going by the annual launch cycle of S series devices, the S21 series launch is not very far from now. As we are slowly heading towards launch; leaks surrounding the upcoming Galaxy S21 series devices have started popping up.
Samsung Galaxy S series is finally getting S-Pen support!
A new leak from Ice universe has revealed that with the S21 lineup, the Galaxy S series will finally get S-Pen support. Though not all the smartphones under the S21 lineup will support S pen and only the Ultra model is reported to come with S-Pen support. The company is expected to introduce three smartphones under the S series lineup – S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra. With S21 Ultra getting the S-Pen support, there is absolutely no feature that will remain exclusive to the Note series.

Is this the end of the Samsung Galaxy Note Series?
Since the introduction of the Galaxy Fold series, there have been speculations around the future of the Galaxy Note series. With the introduction of the Ultra model in the S series earlier this year, it has become even difficult to understand the existence of the Note series devices except for the S-Pen. With S21 Ultra getting the S-Pen support, Samsung might discontinue the Note lineup. But, we will have to wait for some more time for a confirmation on this.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra: Leaked Specifications
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to pack a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone might come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor, which is expected to be announced next month. Though the Snapdragon model might remain exclusive to select markets such as the US and China. While other markets including India, the smartphone might come equipped with the upcoming Exynos 2100 processor.
The smartphone is said to come with a 108MP primary camera which is similar to its predecessor, S20 Ultra. Though, we might see an upgraded sensor on the S21 Ultra. On the front, the phone might come with a 40MP selfie shooter. The upcoming smartphone is said to offer a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support over a USB Type-C port.
