Samsung Galaxy S22 series camera specs tipped

Samsung could launch the Galaxy S22 series in January 2022. Ahead of the launch, the camera specs of the flagship devices have leaked. According to tipster Tron, Samsung will offer the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus with a triple-camera setup. While the number of sensors remains the same, the tipster notes that the resolution might change. Samsung will use a 50MP primary camera sensor.

The two devices will also feature a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Details about the sensor models, pixel size, etc. remain unknown. The tipster has asked to take the leaked camera specs with a pinch of salt.

Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy S22 series could launch with a slightly different screen size compared to the S21 series. The vanilla S22 is likely to feature a 6.06-inch display. The other two devices will come in 6.51-inch and 6.81-inch displays. In comparison, the Galaxy S21 comes with a 6.2-inch display, whereas the S21+ and S21 Ultra sport a 6.7-inch and 6.8-inch display, respectively.

It was previously reported that Samsung could launch the next Galaxy S-series without an under-display camera system.
