Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Z series of foldable flagship phones. The company is now preparing for the launch of its next flagship, the Galaxy S22 series. The upcoming Samsung smartphones from the Galaxy S-series are expected to launch in January or February 2022. Ahead of the launch, some key details of the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphones have leaked online. Tipster Ice Universe has revealed the camera sensor details of the S22 series. The tipster has also revealed the battery charging and the processor details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Samsung Galaxy S22 series to feature faster charging

Samsung Galaxy S22 series is still a few months away from its official launch. Ahead of the official announcement, some key details of the Samsung flagships have leaked. Tipster Ice Universe claims that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S22 and S22+ smartphones will use the newly launched GN5 sensor. The 50MP sensor comes with Dual Pixel Pro technology, which is an all-directional autofocusing technology. It is claimed to offer excellent, sharp images in bright or low-lit environments. 

Tipster Tron had previously claimed that the vanilla S22 and S22+ will have a triple-camera setup. These phones could use the company’s 50MP primary camera sensor. The two devices will also feature a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. 


The tipster did not reveal any details about the Ultra model’s camera. However, recent reports suggest that the top-end Samsung flagship will feature the company’s existing 50MP or 108MP camera sensors. Reports on the web previously have also claimed that Samsung might use its ISOCELL HP1 200MP camera sensor on the S22 Ultra.

Regarding the S22 Ultra, the tipster claims that Samsung will introduce 45W fast charging support. It is unknown if the other two models will also get the faster-charging speed support or come with 25W fast charging support instead.

Lastly, the tipster shared the details of the upcoming Exynos 2200 SoC. He claims that the SoC will have 1 Cortex X2 core clocked at 2.9GHz and three such cores clocked at 2.8GHz. it will have four efficiency cores clocked at 2.2GHz. Moreover, the SoC will feature an AMD GPU clocked at 1250MHz. Ice Universe states that the mentioned performance frequency is only for the S22 Ultra. The clock speed for S22+ and S22 will be different, he said.

Other specs of the Samsung flagships have leaked previously. It was previously reported that the S22 will have a 6.1-inch display, whereas the Plus and Ultra S22 models will feature 6.5-inch and 6.8-inch screens.
