Samsung has teased the launch of a new Galaxy S23 colour in India. The company has confirmed that it will bring the Lime colour option for the Galaxy S23 soon. Earlier this year, Samsung launched the vanilla S23 in Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender colour options. The upcoming colour will be the fifth new option for interested buyers. At the moment, there is no word on the official availability date of the new Lime colour option. Samsung’s teaser shows  that the new Lime colour option is “coming soon.”

Samsung Galaxy S23 Gets a New Lime Shade in India

Samsung Galaxy S23 will get a mid-cycle refresh soon in India. The company will launch the phone in a new Lime colour option. Samsung is expected to launch the new colour option with the same price tag that is attached to the other colour options of the phone. 

Samsung has launched quite a few phones with the Lime colour option in the Galaxy A-series. The upcoming Galaxy S23 is likely to get the same shade.

In terms of pricing and specs, the Galaxy S23 is available in India with two storage options. The base model of the phone offers 128GB of storage. It is priced at Rs 74,999. There is a 256GB variant of the phone as well, which is priced at Rs 79,999. It is worth noting that only the 256GB variant offers UFS 4.0 storage, whereas the 128GB variant has UFS 3.1 storage. 

The phone offers a compact and premium in-hand feel with its glass and metal build. The frame is slightly flat. It has a 6.1-inch tall Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The display is flat and is claimed to offer 1750 nits of peak brightness. There is support for a 120Hz refresh rate as well. The screen refreshes between 48Hz and 120Hz depending on on-screen content. Other display features include support for HDR10+ content and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection against drops and scratches.

There is a customised version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which has a peak clock speed of 3.36GHz. The device also packs a 3900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and 10W wireless charging support. You do not get a charger in the box.

On the back, the Galaxy S23 has a triple-camera setup. There is a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). The phone also features a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. Lastly, there is a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and support for OIS. The device has a 12MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Users can shoot 4K 60fps videos using the front and rear cameras.

The device boots Android 13 out of the box and has a layer of One UI 5.1 on top. It also offers an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and support for Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and Wi-Fi 6E. Lastly, the Galaxy S23 has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
