Samsung is rumoured to launch a new Galaxy Fan Edition (FE) smartphone later this year. The company last launched the Galaxy S21 FE as its affordable flagship phone in January 2022. The device never got a successor to date, giving rise to reports of the company ditching the Fan Edition series altogether. However, it looks like the Galaxy Fan Edition series is not dead just yet. Samsung might skip a number and launch the Galaxy S23 FE instead later this year. A new leak has now revealed the design of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G ahead of its launch.

The report by SmartPrix, citing tipster OnLeaks, has uploaded 5K design renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy FE smartphone. The design renders leaked ahead of the launch reveal that the Galaxy S23 FE will look similar to the Galaxy S23 series flagships. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE design renders, specifications and other details known so far.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Design Renders and Specifications (Leaked)

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will launch as a successor to the Galaxy S21 FE from January 2022. The device might launch in the second half of 2023. Ahead of the launch, the design renders of the premium Samsung smartphone have leaked online. The images reveal that the Galaxy S23 FE will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. It has three circular cutouts for the camera sensors. The LED flash is placed next to the camera setup.

The display remains flat at 6.4 inches and sports a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. It will offer an in-display fingerprint scanner, according to the report. SmartPrix and OnLeaks also claim that the bezels around the display seem wider than S21 FE.

The frame of the phone is slightly curved and houses the power and the volume rocker on the right edge. The left edge seems to be flush. At the bottom edge lies the USB Type-C port sandwiched between the USB Type-C port and the primary speaker grille. Samsung is likely to offer the Galaxy S23 FE with a dual-speaker setup, where the earpiece will double up as a secondary audio channel.

Some other details of the Galaxy S23 FE have leaked in the past. Reports suggest that the phone might launch in Q3 2023. Moreover, it is said to launch in a limited number of markets. There is no word on whether the Galaxy S23 FE India launch event might take place in Q3 or later this year. It is likely to launch with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone is likely to feature a 50MP primary camera sensor. It might also pack a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. There might be an option to wirelessly charge the phone.

The device might feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC or an Exynos 2200 SoC under the hood. More details about the Samsung smartphone should surface soon on the web. We will share more details as and when available.
