Samsung Galaxy S23 Gets New Lime Colour Variant: Price in India and Offers

Samsung has launched a new colour option for the Galaxy S23 in India. The company has refreshed its flagship lineup with a new shade of Lime for the vanilla model. The Galaxy S23 5G was launched earlier this year in India in four colours. These were Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender. The lineup is now even more colourful with the addition of the Lime colour option in India. The new Lime colour option is not a limited edition version and will be available for purchase alongside the other four colour options.

Samsung has also launched the new Lime colour option for the same price as the other variants. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S23 price in India, specifications, features and other details.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Gets a Shade of Lime in India

The Samsung Galaxy S23 gets its fifth colour option in India. The new Lime colour option is available in India with two storage options. Customers can get the Galaxy S23 with 8GB of RAM as standard. The base model packs 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage and is priced at Rs 74,999. There is also a 256GB variant of the phone, which is priced at Rs 79,999. The lineup continues to offer the Galaxy S23 in Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender colours.

The Lime colour option will go on sale from May 16 via online and offline stores. As part of the launch offers, customers can get an upgrade bonus of up to Rs 8,000 with Rs 5,000 bank cashback on the purchase of the S23, bringing the phone’s effective price down to Rs 61,999 for the base 128GB variant and Rs 66,999 for the 256GB variant.

There is also a no-cost EMI option of up to 9 months on HDFC Bank cards. Additionally, consumers can avail of a 24-month EMI plan through Bajaj Finserv EMI or HDFC CD paper finance.

In terms of specs and features, the Galaxy S23 is a compact flagship with premium hardware. The handset has a glass build with an aluminium frame. It comes with a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a Full HD+ resolution and a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The screen refreshes between 48Hz and 120Hz, depending on the on-screen content. It also claims to offer 1750 nits of peak brightness. The display has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection against drops and scratches.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S23 has a custom-developed Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which offers a peak clock speed of 3.36GHz. The handset comes with 8GB of RAM as standard and up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It packs a 3900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and 10W wireless charging support. The company has not bundled a charger in the box but you do get a USB Type-C cable with the phone.

On the back, the Galaxy S23 has a triple-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and support for OIS. For selfies, the phone has a 12MP front camera. The Galaxy S23’s camera system can record 4K 60fps videos using the front and rear cameras.
