Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Case and Cover Colour Options Leaked Ahead of Launch

Samsung will reportedly launch the Galaxy S23 series in February. The company is likely to launch three premium smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event in February 2023. These include the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra.  We are still a few months away from the launch but the rumour mill has revealed almost all the key details about the upcoming flagship smartphones from Samsung.

The latest leak comes from tipster Roland Quandt, who has revealed details about the Galaxy S23 series accessories. The tipster has listed the various covers that Samsung will make available for the Galaxy S23 series. In addition to this, Quandt has also revealed the various colour options that the accessories will be launched in various markets. 

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series: Accessory Details 

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series will launch with multiple back cover options, including leather, silicone, frame cover, etc. The tipster claims that the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra will be compatible with a leather cover, which will launch in Camel, Black and Green colour options.

Samsung will also launch a silicone cover with a strap for the Galaxy S23 series in black and white colour options. There will be one without a strap as well, which will launch in  Khaki, Navy, Orange, Cotton and Violet colours.

Those who would wish to flaunt the design and colour of their Galaxy S23 series phone will be able to purchase the transparent cover, which is likely to be called Ultrafine. Samsung will also launch Clear View case covers in Black, Violet, Khaki and Creme colours.

In addition to the above details, the tipster also revealed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s stylus will be available in Black, Green, Rose and Beige colours. 

Other details about the Galaxy S23 series have leaked as well. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, which will sit at the top of the lineup, will sport a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is curved on the sides and sports a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera, according to the leaked design renders.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will also feature a new 200MP sensor in its quad-camera setup, which will be completed by a 12MP ultrawide camera and two 10MP telephoto sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom, respectively. The device will pack a 5000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging at least.

The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus, on the other hand, will sport 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch Full HD+ 120Hz refresh rate displays, respectively. They will share the camera hardware. The devices will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The devices will also get a 32MP front camera.

The Galaxy S23 is rumoured to pack a 3900mAh battery, whereas the Galaxy S23 Plus is likely to pack a 4700mAh battery. Both models are tipped to offer support for 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

All three Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones will run on the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.0 out of the box. They will also draw power from the latest Qualcomm flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Samsung might launch the S23 series phones with up to 12GB of RAM, with the Galaxy S23 5G being offered with 8GB of RAM as standard. It will also get up to 256GB of internal storage, whereas the other two devices will offer up to 512GB of internal memory.
