Samsung Galaxy S23 Series RAM, Storage and Colour Options Leaked Ahead of Rumoured February 1 Launch

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which will sit at the top of the lineup, will launch with up to 12GB of RAM and a 1TB storage option.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch date was recently leaked. The company’s Columbia division uploaded the teaser invite and confirmed some key details about the upcoming Galaxy S23 series. Samsung will launch three premium smartphones next month. The devices are expected to debut on February 1. Samsung is yet to officially confirm the details. Meanwhile, a new leak has revealed some more details about the Galaxy S23 series.

Tipster Snoopy Tech has revealed the RAM, storage and colour options of the upcoming S23 series. The tipster has also listed the colour options and some other details about the devices. According to the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will launch with at least 8GB of RAM for the base model. 

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which will sit at the top of the lineup, will launch with up to 12GB of RAM and a 1TB storage option as well. The 1TB storage variant is likely to be available only via the Samsung online store. The phone is also expected to debut with 8GB of RAM for the base model and launch with 256GB of internal storage. There will be a 12GB + 512GB storage option.

The Galaxy S23 Plus, which will sit between the Ultra and the vanilla model, will launch with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for the base model. The phone will also have another 8GB RAM option with 512GB of internal storage.

The standard Galaxy S23, which will be an entry-level offering in the premium lineup, will launch with 8GB of RAM. It will be available in 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. Yes, the vanilla model will be the only one in the lineup to launch with 128GB of storage.

In addition to this, tipster Snoopy revealed that all three devices will launch in Botanic Green, Misty Lilac, Phantom Black and Cotton Flower colours. There will be more colour options, which will be available exclusively via the Samsung E-store. 

DSCC’s Ross Young had previously revealed that the special colour options, which will be available in lower volumes, will be Grey, Light Blue, Light Green and Red.

The high-resolution images of the leaked four main colours were uploaded recently. The images confirm that the phones will be identical to the leaked design renders uploaded in the past.

Other than the above-mentioned information, the specifications of the Galaxy S23 series have leaked as well. Samsung’s Ultra model will get most of the upgrades. Here’s a look at the specifications and features of the S23 series.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will get most of the upgrades. It will continue to sport a quad-camera setup but the primary camera sensor will be upgraded to a new 200MP sensor. There will also be a 2MP ultrawide camera and two 10MP telephoto shooters. The telephoto camera sensors will continue to sport 3x and 10X optical zoom. The device will sport a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ resolution. The screen will be curved and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.

The S23 Ultra is also said to pack a beefy 5000mAh battery and support 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging. It will have a slot for the S Pen.

The Galaxy S23 Plus will pack a 4700mAh battery, whereas the standard model will get a 3900mAh battery. The charging tech will offer 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Both phones will have the same triple-camera setup. There will be a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The Galaxy S23 Plus will have a 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, whereas the S23 5G will have a 6.1-inch display. Both AMOLED displays will be flat and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. There will be 120Hz refresh rate support as well.

All three phones will boot Samsung’s latest One UI 5.0 software based on Android 13. The Galaxy S23 series will also come with a 12MP front camera and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood.
